Lotus Healing Arts offers a variety of healthcare services. Having foundations in both the western sciences and eastern healing philosophies, care provided for clients offers a balanced combination of both traditions. As such treatment draws on a range of practices from the time tested effectiveness of Chinese or Oriental medicine to that of modern manipulative techniques.

For over 15 years the practitioners at Lotus Healing Arts have pursued continuing education in many fields within their professional scope. With this has come a unique specialization of skills that have led to Karen becoming an instructor within her areas of expertise.

Karen is an Instructor for Dragon Rises Seminars. She teaches Contemporary Chinese Pulse Diagnosis to students and practitioners of Oriental medicine. This system of pulse diagnosis has its origins in Vietnam and was refined by Dr John Shen OMD and documented by Dr Leon Hammer MD. She is striving to further validate and corroborate this valuable skill by actively undertaking research into this field.
